Dear Artists, Clients and Friends,
Art Direct Sonoma has been a positive experience since the very beginning. We hit the ground running with a three day art show & sale in Forestville, have had several successful shows at the Village Inn & Restaurant, Amista Vineyards and Gold Coast, as well as other small venues in Sonoma County. But during the past year it has become increasingly clear that this may not be the best time to interest the general public in buying art -- at least not in the way that we had intended. There is nothing on the horizon for us, and hasn't been for some time and we believe this will be the pattern for quite a while.
Our website contract ends in February so rather than prolong what seems to us to be an obvious, if not too graceful, end, we have decided not to renew it and will close our electronic doors, and consequently our little enterprise on February 12, 2010.
We want to say "thank you" to the many artists, clients and friends who have supported this effort. It has been our pleasure to work with you and represent many artists in public and private shows.
