My aim is to be a visual poet, to capture both the quality of light and also the essence of soul in whatever I paint. My mission is to fuse visual and spiritual content with technical knowledge in order to build a bridge between the viewer and myself. It is a lifelong journey and begins with the fundamentals. I believe that mastering the fundamentals of any art form is liberating, giving one the freedom of effortless expression. Visit Susan at www.adamsart.net

Carol Lois Haywood

Living in California for the last twenty years, retiring early, I often found myself at the coast with a paintbrush in hand, pursuing new artistic interests.  Little did I realize I was inviting into my personality a strange compulsion, one that has since taken over my life.  I have become a marine artists who loves painting commercial fishing boats. yes, a fish-boat maniac.  Everywhere I go, I see small fishing fleets of boats with crews of two or three, heading out to fish, returning later to sell their catch. Every time I visit the coast, I see something to excite my desire to create. And so it has gone for seven years not.  Find out more about Carol and see more of  her work at www.haywoodc.com.

Rose Peterson Myers

Award winning artist, Rose Peterson Myers, loves to create. Although proficient in most media, Rose is enchanted with watercolor.  Known for her bold color and unusual techniques, Rose has received many awards in the past ten years.  Using a technique similar to that used on fabric, Rose produces beautiful and highly collected "Watercolor Batiks" on hand made and oriental paper, as well as traditional watercolor paintings.  Due to patron request, there are now many of Rose's paintings available as professional giclee prints.  For more about Rose and her work, visit her website at www.rosepetersonmyers.com

Joan Wale

Joan likes to let water color do what it does so naturally - mix and interact on the paper.  She loves to let the paint flow in its own direction looking for unexpected results which then lead to the correct conclusion for the painting.  She strives for originality in approach, concept, technique and subject  matter and almost all of her paintings are abstract or expressionistic.  See more of her work at www.wascoart.org.

Rae Ann Williams

As an artist, I will paint almost any subject, as long as I love it.  When I am asked if I have a favorite painting, I always say that it is the one that I am working on at the moment.  However, each of my paintings does have a special place in my heart.  I love to paint, and hope that is reflected in my work.  Learn more ab out Rae Ann at www.raeannwilliams.com.
